New Condo Building In Downtown Minneapolis

Shamrock Development has started work on a new 166-unit condo building.

Developer Jim Stanton has started construction on his newest condo building in Minneapolis.  Although there have been thousands of apartment units built in the past few years, no condos projects have broken ground – or been proposed – since the recession.

Stanton’s Shamrock Development began moving earth on the new project this week, according to the Star Tribune.  Stanton has owned the site since early 2010. Earlier this year he announced plans to build 166-unit condo building, which is going to be called StoneBridge, near the Guthrie Theater and Shamrock’s successful Bridgewater condo building.
